Mental Health & Wellbeing

Creating Safe Spaces to Heal, Grow, and Connect

Mental health challenges affect people from all walks of life yet many suffer in silence, especially those already facing poverty, isolation, or trauma. At Just Penny, we’re here to change that. We believe wellbeing is a right, not a luxury.

Our Mental Health & Wellbeing Programme provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, and accessible support to people who often fall through the cracks of mainstream services.

Who We Support

We focus on reaching:

  • Young people struggling with anxiety, pressure, or trauma
  • Men and boys facing emotional health challenges but unlikely to seek help
  • Refugees and migrants with past trauma or cultural stigma around mental health
  • Elderly individuals experiencing isolation, grief, or depression
  • **Women affected by domestic abuse, single parenthood, or emotional burnout
  • Anyone facing hardship due to the cost of living, unemployment, or housing stress

What We Offer: Support That Meets People Where They Are

We aim to normalise mental health care and make it truly accessible to everyone. Our services include:

Why It Matters

Too many people are told to “tough it out.” Others don’t know where to turn. Mental health can’t wait — and it doesn’t discriminate.

Our goal is to create a community of empathy, support, and connection, where every person feels seen and supported, no matter what they’re facing.

How You Can Help

  • Share your skills therapists, coaches, listeners, and mentors are welcome
  • Sponsor a session fund a peer group, workshop, or home visit
  • Join our mental wellness campaigns help raise awareness in your community
  • Refer someone in need we are here to help with dignity and respect

Mental health is community health.
At Just Penny, we’re not here to fix people we’re here to walk with them.
