Social Inclusion & Community Wellbeing
Because Everyone Deserves to Belong, Connect, and Thrive
At JustPenny, we are committed to creating a society where no one feels invisible. Our Social Inclusion Programme supports those who are often left behind — individuals who face isolation, exclusion, or simply lack the opportunities many take for granted.
We proudly serve:
- Refugees and asylum seekers who are rebuilding their lives but rarely get the chance to enjoy the world around them
- Low-income or deprived individuals unable to access cultural, social, or community opportunities
- Older adults living alone, especially those in poor housing or without regular family contact
- Socially isolated individuals, including those experiencing health issues, trauma, or barriers to engagement
- People affected by the cost of living crisis, who must choose between essentials and community connection
What We Offer: Inclusion Through Action
Our goal is simple: to open doors — to people, places, and possibilities.
Here’s how we make it happen:
- Guided group trips and local sightseeing experiences — for those who’ve never had the chance to explore parks, museums, historic sites, or even the city they live in.
- Community meet-ups and café socials — relaxed gatherings where individuals can form friendships and escape loneliness.
- Health and wellbeing awareness sessions — including workshops on mental health, physical care, and healthy lifestyle tips tailored to those who often miss out.
- Cultural understanding and language support circles — to help refugees and migrants feel at home and be heard.
- Cost of living assistance — signposting, support groups, and practical advice on navigating hardship with dignity.
- Creative expression activities — from storytelling and music to art sessions that allow participants to share their identity and culture.
- Volunteering and community action projects — helping participants feel empowered, useful, and part of something bigger.
Why It Matters
Many of our neighbours feel forgotten, lonely, or disconnected from the world around them. Refugees who have never visited a park. Elders who go days without a visitor. Families who can’t afford even the smallest day out.
Social inclusion is not charity — it’s justice.
It’s about ensuring every person, regardless of income, background, or circumstance, gets to participate fully in life.
How You Can Help
We invite you to be part of the change.
- Volunteer your time as a guide, companion, or support person
- Donate to sponsor outings, meals, or materials
- Partner with us to host inclusive events or workshops
- Refer someone who might benefit from these opportunities
At JustPenny, we believe that one small step can open a lifetime of connection.
Let’s build a more inclusive, compassionate world — together.
