At JustPenny, we believe sport is more than just play, it’s a powerful tool for transformation. Our Youth Engagement Through Sports programme empowers young people to grow in confidence, discipline, and community spirit while keeping them away from harmful environments.

We use team sports and outdoor activities as a foundation to inspire healthier lifestyles, build resilience, and connect youth with purpose-driven mentors.

Our Approach: Movement With Meaning

We organise regular activities and events designed to make sports fun, inclusive, and development-focused, especially for young people who:

  • Come from low-income or high-risk backgrounds
  • Are socially isolated or disengaged from school or work
  • Have experienced mental health challenges or family instability
  • May be vulnerable to gangs, violence, or antisocial behaviour

What We Offer

  • Football, Basketball, Rugby & Hockey training sessions and friendly matches
  • Cycling days and beginner’s bike clubs — promoting fitness and freedom
  • Trekking and nature walks to build teamwork, trust, and mental wellbeing
  • Youth tournaments and sports days that bring together local communities
  • Leadership and life skills coaching embedded into sports programming
  • Mentorship from positive role models — including trained youth workers and athletes
  • Workshops on healthy living, nutrition, and mental resilience

All activities are delivered in safe, supervised environments, with trained coaches and safeguarding in place.
